Field of Membership

The field of membership shall be limited to those having the following common bond:

(1) Regular members of the following units of the Chautauqua County Local of the Civil Service Employees’ Associations, Inc. (Local 807), AFSCME-ALF-CIO who qualify for membership in accordance with its constitution and bylaws as of the date of this amendment:

(a) Unit #6300 in Chautauqua County, except for employees of the Chautauqua County Highway Department,

(b) Unit # 6313 in the Village of Fredonia, New York,

(c) Unit #6314 in the Town of Ellicott, New York,

(d) Unit #6315 in the Village of Silver Creek, New York

(2) Regular members of the following local union which serve employees in Chautauqua County, New York and who qualify for membership in accordance with their constitutions and bylaws as of the date of this amendment:

(a) Local Union #1124, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers who work in Westfield, New York,

(b) Dunkirk, New York, City Employees Local #912 on the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, ALF-CIO, in Dunkirk, New York,

(c) Dunkirk Paid fire Fighters Association, Inc. and Local #616, International Association of Fire Fighters, ALF-CIO, in Dunkirk, New York,

(d) Fredonia Professional Fire Fighters, Fredonia, New York.

(3) Regular members of the following associations comprised of employees in Chautauqua County and who qualify for membership in accordance with their constitutions and bylaws as of the date of this amendment:

(a) Dunkirk Police Benevolent Association, Inc. of Dunkirk, New York,

(b) Chautauqua Managers Association, in Mayville, New York,

(c) Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Employees’ Association in Mayville, New York,

(d) Fredonia Police Benevolent Association, Inc. of Fredonia, New York,

(e) Village of Falconer Employees’ Association of Falconer, New York,

(f) Town of Pomfret Employees’ Association of Pomfret, New York,

(g) Silver Creek Police Association, Inc. of Silver Creek, New York,

(h) Town of Chautauqua Employees’ Association of Chautauqua, New York,

(i) Chautauqua County Legislature and Appointed Officials Association of Mayville, New York, 

(j) Village of Lakewood Employees’ Association of Lakewood, New York,

(k) Town of North Harmony Employees’ Association of North Harmony, New York,

(l) Town of Westfield Employees’ Association of Westfield, New York,

(m) Town of Sherman and Village of Sherman Employees’ Association of Sherman, New York,

(n) Tri-Town Employees’ Association of Gerry, New York,

(o) Chautauqua Opportunities Employees; Association in Jamestown, New York,

(p) Town of Portland Employees’ Association in Portland, New York,

(q) Town of Ripley Employees’ Association in Ripley, New York,

(r) Town of Mina Employees’ Association in Findley Lake, New York;

(4) Employees of the above chapter, local unions and associations;

(5) Regular members of the Red Wing Employees’ Association in Fredonia, New York and who are employed by the Red Wing Co., Inc. in Fredonia, New York;

(6) Employees of Ethan Allen, Inc. Mayville Division who work in Mayville, New York;

(7) Employees of Ethan Allen, Inc. Frewsburg Division who work in Frewsburg, New York;

(8) Employees of Ethan Allen, Inc. Mideast Consolidation Warehouse who work in Falconer, New York;

(9) Employees of Chautauqua Alcoholism and Substance Council, Inc. who work in Dunkirk or Jamestown, New York;

(10) Members of the Clymer-French Creek Employees Association in Clymer, New York;

(11) Employees of the State of New York Department of Correctional Services, Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility, who work in Brocton, New York;

(12) Natural-person members of the Mayville Chamber of Commerce in Mayville, New York;

(13) Employees of Women’s Christian Association Adult Home who work in Fredonia, New York;

(14) Employees of Chautauqua County Rural Ministry, Inc. who work in Dunkirk, New York; Employees of the Town of Ellery who work in Ellery, New York; Employees of Cliffstar Corporation who work in Dunkirk or Fredonia, New York; Employees of the Town of Arkwright who work in Arkwright, New York;

(15) Employees of Chautauqua Point Development Corporation who work in Mayville, New York;

(16) Employees of the Town of Hanover who work in Silver Creek, New York;

(17) Employees of Jamestown Plastics, Inc. who work in Brocton, New York;

(18) Members of the Chautauqua Area Kiwanis Club / Key Club of Mayville, in Mayville, New York;

(19) Employees of the Chautauqua Institution who work in Chautauqua, New York;

(20) Employees of Village of Celoron who work in Celoron, New York;

(21) Members of the Mayville Fire Department in Mayville, New York; Members of the Dewittville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. in Dewittville, New York;

(22) Natural person members of the Findley Lake Area Chamber of Commerce in Findley Lake, New York;

(23) Employees of CARTS Drivers or Senior Aids who work in Mayville, New York;

(24) Members of the Hartfield Fire Department in Hartfield, New York;

(25) Employees of The Mayville Tremaine Insurance Co. in Mayville, New York;

(26) Employees of Tresses Beauty Salon in Mayville, New York;

(27) Members of the Chautauqua Bird, Tree, and Garden Club who live or work in Chautauqua County, New York, and who qualify for membership in accordance with its bylaws as of May 28, 1996, limited to a maximum of 2,500 members;

(28) Employees of the Law Offices of Fessenden, Laumer, & DeAngelo in Jamestown, New York.

(29) Voting members of the Findley Lake Nature Center who live or work in Chautauqua County, New York, who qualify for membership in accordance with its bylaws in effect on May 16, 2000.

(30) Members of the First Baptist Church in Mayville, New York,  also included are members of their immediate* families,   spouses of persons who die while within the field of membership of the Credit Union and employees of this Credit Union.  The immediate families or household members may join the Credit Union even if the eligible primary member has not joined.

(31) Employees of The Chautauqua County Hospice, Inc, in Mayville, New York.

(32) Voting members of NYS Deparment Of Transportation Local 509 in Forestville, New York who qualify for membership in accordance with its charter and bylaws in effect as of September 2000.

(33) Employees of The Chautauqua County Soil& Water Conservation District who work on, or are paid or supervised from Jamestown, New York.

*blood, marriage, or other recognized family relationships in the same household, (under the same roof), or if not in the same household, as a grandparent, parent, spouse, sibling, child or grandchild.  For the purposes of this definition, immediate family member includes stepparents, stepchildren, and stepsiblings, adopted children or any other legally recognized family relationship.
